Installation Requirements

System Requirements

The actual system requirements for G-Health will vary with the number of clients but for most systems up to 50 clients the below specifications will suffice. For more clients please discuss with your Geutebrück representative.

SSL Certificates Required

SQL Server Requirement

The G-Health server software utilizes Microsoft SQL Server for its database. This can be installed locally or a remote instance can be used.

For up to 50 G-Health Clients the free SQL Server Express Edition is sufficient. For more clients you may require a standard or enterprise edition of SQL Server. Please consult with your Geutebrück representative on this subject.

SSL Certificate Requirement

The G-Health server software utilizes SSL Certificates for encryption of the data in transit between the clients and the server and between the server and the users web browser.

Upon installation a self signed certificate is installed but this should be replaced with a user supplied valid SSL certificate for optimal security and to avoid browser error messages.

G-Core Requirement

For full functionality v7.1.x or above of G-Core is required. The G-Health Client will not connect with versions below v6.0.x

Licensing Requirement

Before the G-Health Server software will accept any client registrations it must have a valid license for the number of client devices (NVRs) that will be connecting.
